Episode 124 - Jeff Johnson and Buzz Sutherland

 For this edition of the CEP we bring you Jeff Johnson and Buzz Sutherland.  Jeff, along with his wife and daughter, is the owner and proprietor of Laughing Gas Comedy in Cape Girardeau, MO, which is an all new, 7000 square foot venue that houses both the Laughing Gas Comedy club and the huge N2O Lounge; both very impressive.  And Buzz is an outstanding comic that has a longstanding history with Jeff and so he came down to provide the comedy for the launch of this new endeavor.  Buzz definitely had me in tears both on and off the mic with some of his stories and so if you ever get the opportunity to see him perform, do it.  You shan’t be disappointed.  And if you are ever in the Cape Girardeau, MO area be sure to stop by Laughing Gas Comedy to see a show, and maybe lounge in the lounge.

Episode 122 - Tracey Maxfield Discusses Depression

For this episode we bring you Tracey Maxfield. Ever since Tracey was a very small child she wanted to be a nurse and for the past past 36 years, she has worked as a nurse, caring for patients in the field of gerontology and those suffering from dementia. Tracey is also a blogger, an author, and a depression survivor who decided that her story is too important not to share with others. Tracey details the horrific symptoms of her severe depression, including her battle with intense suicidal ideations, and discusses many of the life events that have shaped her into the person that she is today. This is Episode 3 of the series titled Back to the Basics: A Guide for Growth featuring Scott McNally.  Scott is the prolific podcaster of the bodybuilding arena and you can find all of his shows on bodybuildingnerds.com and advicesradio.com, and of course you can look for Bodybuilding Nerds and the Advices Radio Network on all platforms where great podcasts are disseminated.  During this episode you are going to hear Scott bring us all kinds of useful info regarding the nutrition aspects of being fit.  Scott guides us by breaking down the  macro-nutrients that we need, with an emphasis on proteins but he also brings the fats and carbs to the table, you get that? To the table?  That was pretty good right?  But no he also discusses emotional eating and some of the things that we have to cut out of the diet  Like refined sugar.  It is evil folks.  Its the debil.  At any rate, I am personally taking full advantage of the information being brought to us by the very knowledgeable Scott McNally and I implore you to do the same.
