Colt and James get the long-awaited opportunity to speak with Stephen Ogden, D.O.  Doc Ogden is a doctor of osteopathic medicine, bodybuilder, and co-host of the Clinical Muscle podcast on Advices Radio.  During the show we had the opportunity to dive into the world of healthcare in its current state, as well as where we think, or hope, the healthcare climate is taking us.  We also had the chance to discuss the Clinical Muscle podcast, which you can subscribe to and download on iTunes.  Clinical Muscle, hosted by Doc and Vijay Puri, is a fantastic bodybuilding/health/fitness show that's both informative and highly entertaining.  And as always, our discussion ranges from dogs sinking in the pool to Walmart conspiracies.  Great times were had so....chickedy check it out!   

Episode 26

Colt and James visit 2nd Shift Brewing, on The Hill in St. Louis, during the Salt + Smoke Hog Roast.  Not only did we have the opportunity to eat some delicious food and drink delectable 2nd Shift craft beers, but we also met with a couple of great guests.  Scott Kurtz is a home brewing extraordinaire and has a huge knowledge base regarding anything craft beer.  You can try some of his smoked porter on tap at Steampunk Brew Works at St. Louis Wine and Beer Making in Chesterfield, MO.  We also spoke with Heidy Murphy who has an online store at chicbeerblogger-trends.myshopify.com, she has a blog at chicbeerblogger.wordpress.com, and she has a podcast coming your way soon.  We had a great time taking in the atmosphere and talking with Kurtz and Heidy about all things beer.  Chickedy check it out!    

Episode 25

Colt and James get the opportunity to sit down with J.B. Anderson at Gaslight STL.  Gaslight offers a unique atmosphere where you can come in, have a local St. Louis craft beer, and watch one of a number of talented local acts record in Gaslight's beautiful studio.  After a tour of the building, J.B. invited us into the studio's control room to record the show.  Our discussion began with the roots and inspiration for Gaslight, which includes J.B.'s history, as well as his vision and desire to put St. Louis music on the map in a significant way.  J.B. discussed his collaboration with Media Outlaws, some of the talent that has come through the studio thus far, and his passion for doing those things that drive him in his life.  Check out Gaslight STL on Facebook to see some of the amazing videos recorded live in the studio, and head down to 4916 Shaw Ave in St. Louis to take the experience in for yourself.  You shan't be disappointed!

Colt and James take another ride on the podcast review train, but not before they discuss such banter as the birth of Pearl, James' vacation, and our awesome day at Steampunk Brew Works.  When these 2 podcast addicts finally get to the reviews, they discuss episodes 947 and 974 of the Joe Rogan Experience.  Episode 947 discusses the topic of The Church of Scientology, while 974 centers on the Westboro Baptist Church.  Both of these episodes give the CEP plenty of ranting ammo to keep our brains fired up.

Episode 22

Colt and James are at it again, reviewing a couple of great podcasts for you to chickecdy check out.  The first is the WTF Podcast with host Marc Maron, as he sits with the late and great Chris Cornell of Soundgarden and Audioslave.  Marc and Chris discuss the roots of Soundgarden and the Seattle scene in the 90s.  The second podcast review is the Voices of Bodybuilding, hosted by the very talented Mike Pulcinella.  Mike reviews articles discussing concepts like ineffective exercise ploys and much more.  Naturally, you can download these episodes on iTunes, like we did, and see for yourselves how much the ever-expanding universe has to offer.

In this first of a 2-part session, James goes into the weeds in an attempt to determine why we make judgements based on feelings, and how those feelings get in there in the first place. Finally, the Cerebralites review the Science Vs. podcast episode titled "Antidepressants", submitted on October 28th, 2016. This episode explores the concept that antidepressant medications are ineffective, other than providing a placebo effect to the user.
